Child Safety

OGFNC Child Safety Officer

Director of Child Safety: Monique Sendeckyj

E: childsafety@ogfnc.com.au

As the Director of Child Safety at OGFNC, this role is deeply personal

for me. I’m not only here in a professional capacity, I’m also a proud

parent who has watched my sons grow through this club, from their early

Auskick days to now playing footy in the U14s and U16s. I’ve seen

firsthand the club connection, and growth that sport can bring to young

people when they feel safe and supported.

In my work as a House Leader in secondary education, I deal with child

safety and wellbeing every single day. It’s not just part of my job it’s

a responsibility I take very seriously. Supporting young people to feel

seen, heard, and protected is something I care deeply about, both in the

classroom and on the sporting field.

At OGFNC, we are all committed to creating an environment where every

child and young person feels safe, included, and respected.

Why This Matters – For You and Our Players

Our most important role is to protect our children and young people from

harm by building a strong, caring community that puts their wellbeing

first. Whether on the netball court or the football field, every player

deserves to feel safe, supported, and valued. By making child safety a

priority, we build trust, strengthen our club culture, and allow our

kids to grow with confidence on and off the field.

If you ever feel uncertain, see something that concerns you, or simply

need support, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me for a

confidential conversation at any time.

Together, we can ensure OGFNC remains a safe, supportive, and empowering

environment for everyone to grow.
